Community Begins at the Library
Join us at this general legislative public hearing with Florida State Senator Clay Yarborough and State Rep Dean Black.
This hearing allows the public to share with their state senator and representative in Tallahassee issues important to them in Nassau County. Whether Amendment 3 passes or not, this meeting is extremely important to emphasize how critical libraries are to our community and quality of life. This is our opportunity to request adequate and stable funding for libraries, reopening of the Bryceville Branch Library, and restoration of library hours in Yulee and Fernandina Beach.
Speakers can sign up at the meeting and are allotted 3 minutes. Sharing what a library means to you personally sends a powerful message. Even if you do not wish to speak, a large library contingent is helpful.
We need to keep this issue in front of ALL our elected officials! Please email your local city and county commissioners at the addresses below.
