Join us and meet the artists at a special reception for our newest ceramic wall art exhibit, "Fired Up: Expressions in Clay"  on Friday, September 25 from 5 - 7 PM. 

Our local artists from the Amelia Clay Guild will be on hand to showcase their clay works and many will be for sale.

The oldest known ceramic artifact dates from 28,000 years ago. Ancient hunter-gatherers were the first to make and fire bowls. Through the centuries techniques were refined, cultural styles emerged and ceramics as an art form blossomed. Whether it is for functional pottery or sculpture, clay is the perfect medium for many 3-dimensonal artists.
