Friends of the Library Literary Book Club meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Parlor Room of Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church, 801 Atlantic Avenue.
The goal of the Literary Book Club is to revisit significant books of the past and to discover noteworthy authors and works.
The group meetings are led by expert facilitators Marilyn and Norman Wesley. Marilyn Wesley, professor and author, recently retired from Hartwick College, specializes in American literature and is the poetry editor of the journal Phoebe. Norman Wesley, Professor Emeritus of the State University of New York at Oneonta, has taught over 60 courses in all periods of British and American literature.
