Computer Class: Fifth in Series “Facebook”

Deryck Burnett, owner of Megabite Computer Services, is continuing to offer his computer expertise at the Fernandina Beach Library. Seniors Vs. Crime Presentation

Friends of the Library is pleased to offer a presentation of Seniors vs. Crime. This free, hour-long program will be held in the Community Room of the Fernandina Beach Library on Wednesday evening, July 19th, at 7:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Florida Office of the Attorney General, the Seniors vs. Crime Project is a non-profit volunteer organization that teaches seniors how to protect themselves from becoming victims of consumer fraud. Friends of the Library Summer 2017 Quilted Art Exhibit

Friends of the Library is pleased to announce a new exhibition of quilts by local artist Pamela Baity. Ms. Baity has taken the opportunity to share her expertise and artistry with Fernandina Beach residents, students and visitors to enhance the community’s understanding and appreciation of the historic art of quiltmaking. At an early age, Ms. Baity was taught to sew and quilt by her mother and two grandmothers, but has been seriously quilting for 17 years.
